Armidale and Uralla
CAMRA researchers at Armidale Dumaresq Council, Arts North West, the University of Technology, Sydney, and Uralla Shire Council are working in this region.
Armidale & Uralla: a cultural profile
The city of Armidale and town of Uralla just 23km to its south, are typical New England towns. Situated in the high country on the Northern Tablelands, roughly halfway between Sydney and Brisbane on the New England Highway, both are characterised by their cool, temperate climate and enjoy four 'real' seasons.
Uralla Shire Residents' Survey: our cultural assets
Residents of Uralla Shire were invited to fill in an online questionnaire about the local cultural assets they value. The information will be used to better understand and plan for the development of local arts and cultural industries.
