To kick start CAMRA in the Central Darling, in 2009 UTS researcher Lisa Andersen, assisted by Josh Edwards, surveyed and interviewed 23 community and cultural leaders about the local cultural assets that are important to them and what is special about the place where they live.

Some of their responses have been located in the series of maps displayed on these pages.
